![]() I have tried my speakers, headphones plugged into both my laptop and drum set, Microsoft sound mapper, everything it gives me the option to choose. Another issue is, if for example I am supposed to use Waveout as my audio system I am not sure what I set as my input and output devices. No matter what I try I cannot hear any sound on reaper but it shows that I am hitting my drum set. I am on Windows and I am confused with what I am supposed to set as my 'audio system' it shows: WDM Kernal streaming, Direct Sound. I have my USB plugged into my laptop and drum set and downloaded and opened Reaper. For the last couple days I have hardly played on them because I have been trying to use the MIDI aspect to play with some drum plug-ins that are supposed to sound better than the preloaded sounds on the module. So about a week ago I bought an alesis nitro mesh kit because I thought it would be fun to take up drums as a hobby so I went with a cheap kit since I am a beginner. ResourcesĮDIT Thank you to those that pitched in! I am able to hear sound! Now just gotta understand the plugins more! I appreciate you all! We'd love to hear what you have produced with Reaper, but please post it in the weekly sticky.
